I am a final year PhD student researching the proximal processes of explosive volcanic eruptions. My work is mainly field-based and involves the investigation of pyroclastic density current deposits on the caldera rim at Las Cañadas in Tenerife. My other interests include volcanic geochemistry and the impact of natural hazards upon people and climate.
